Thanks to the thousands of supporters like you and the tireless work of shark conservation advocates over the last five years, five species of sharks and rays can no longer be traded across borders thanks to newly won protections under CITES (Convention for International Trade of Endangered Species).
This is a major victory to save sharks from the cruel practice of shark finning, where sharks are captured by the millions to have their fins cut off and their live bodies discarded.

Shark species won protections under CITES (Convention for International Trade of Endangered Species)
Whale of a Time organises creative events on environmental issues to encourage active participation living a sustainable lifestyle inspired by a positive attitude. We work largely with children and young people at community and environmental festivals, and in schools and youth clubs. Our work has been recognised by many national and community and environmental awards schemes.
